We woke up early today (and didn't take a bath lol!) because we wanted to visit Ginkakuji and Kinkakuji first before checking out and heading to Nara. Unlike Kiyomizudera there weren't many things to see there so we didn't spent much time, but we had great time going around Kyoto by bus (we bought a one day pass bus ticket, it cost 500 yen). Then we had lunch at Sukiya (too bad we wouldn't be able to eat there anymore :(

We left K's House at around 2 pm and took a bus to Kyoto Station. We didn't have any idea on how to buy the ticket and where, but we asked here and there so we were okay XD We took JR to Oji, Nara. On the way an ojiichan asked where we were from (he spoke in English with pretty good pronunciation) then we had a good talk along the way to Oji. He even volunteered himself to take us to our next ryokan, Yougendo which is very close to the station, only one minute walk. After finishing with all the reservation procedure, he set off to Osaka.

Apparently, Yougendo is quite famous because when Mitsuo-san asked us where we would be staying, he quickly guessed Yougendo. It's a completely different place and atmosphere from K's House. Yougendo is a japanese style ryokan. We stayed at IKARUGA, "Anglo-Japanese" Style for 5 people, a perfect room for us. Even though there are two heaters in the room, it's still cold inside >.< but it's okay, the futon and blanket are thick enough, hopefully they can keep us warm :)

After reloading our clothes and stuff, we went to Seiyu, a department store, which is located at the same building as Oji station. We bought some things for ourselves and our relatives. We spent quite a lot of time there (as they sell things with reasonable price) that we didn't realize that lots of restaurants were close :( Perhaps it's because Nara is a small town that by 9 pm the surroudings have become quieter XD So we ended up cooking instant noodles that we brought from home lol! (indomie lagii indomie lagi wakakakaka....)

We're planning to visit some temples around Nara tomorrow. And hopefully I can find a cinema here coz I really want to watch Nodame Cantabile movie while I'm in Japan :( Owh, speaking of Nodame Cantabile, most of the magazines I find here had Tamaki and Juri-chan on the cover but I succeeded in restraining myself from going nuts buying all those mags lol! I'm still hoping that there will be a photobook of the movie *fingers crossed* and I still can't find Mister Donut *cries*

Okay, I must sign off now as I need to have my dinner then take a bath and then watch EXILE House after that :D

2. w_kassy, I've bought you the novel. ternyata banyak banget ya bo versinya, ada kali tuh 10 macem yg covernya Toma semua, tapi gue pilih satu aja. Gak tau dehh tuh isinya apa hihihihi...gomen ne, yang penting covernya kan? di dalemnya ada bookmark yg gambarnya Toma juga kok :)

We visited Kiyomizudera today and gosh! it's reaaallllly beautiful! We went to a one of the shrines there (I forgot the name :D). We had to go down under it which was soooo dark we can't even see a thing and nearing the end of the "journey" there was a big stone where we can say our wishes. We also bought some charms for ourselves and our friends and relatives at home. I bought a "shiawase" (that means happiness in English) for myself :)

We spent almost three hours there because it was so beautiful and grand. There are many souvenirs shops too and we spent some time to buy some. Ita went crazy when she saw lots of Shinsengumi stuff lol!

After visiting Kiyomizudera, we didn't have much time left to visit other temples as it was already 4.30 pm and most of the temples there close at 5 pm, but we managed to visit one *again I forgot the name XD I regret not writing down the names on my note book) and it was very big with a very beautiful garden. It's so amazing to see how traditional culture blends very well with the modern one in just one city.

We went back to our hostel after that to take a bath and had some "snacks" before having the real dinner :D then we headed to Avanti (and we got lost again just to reach that place lol!) We really wanted to visit Uniqlo as they sell quite cheap clothes over there, but I ended up buying nothing XD (binbou dakara lol) After finishing shopping, we went to Sukiya, a restaurant which sells very cheap yet delicious food. The place instantly became our favorite place to have meals. We went there three times :)

Oh I forgot to tell you that we also shared the room with another guest from Argentina, her name is Ruth. She speaks good English but we didn't get the chance to talk a lot because whenever we arrived back at the hotel she was already asleep. We booked a dormitory room, which has 3 bunk beds, that means it is meant for six people. We thought that there wouldnt be another guest but we were wrong, that's why we were quite surprised (and a little bit uncomfortable at first) when she suddenly entered our room. But it was okay at the end.

I'm posting this from K's House, a hostel we're currently staying at. The hostel is really nice. The staff can speak English pretty well, and luckily we have guri with us who can speak Japanese fluently, so it's easier for us to ask japanese when we're lost (and we got lost quite often lol!)

We arrived at Narita around 7 a.m on Thursday, and headed to Haneda airport on the airport limousine (and it cost us 3000 yen >.< that's pretty expensive if it's converted to Indonesian Rupiah lol!). We arrived at Itami airport around 2.30 and took the bus to Kyoto. I didn't sleep on the way to Kyoto because I wanted to enjoy Osaka view and it's really beautiful.

We arrived at Kyoto Station less than an hour and started looking for K's House. Even though we have printed the map, we still got lost lol! So after walking around 30 minutes we finally found the hostel yay! I recommend this hostel if you're planning to stay in Kyoto. The staff are nice and helpful. There's a kitchen on the second floor and we can cook there freely. The lounge on the second floor is also very comfortable, with four computers that can be used with 100 yen/20 minutes. The room is clean comfortable too and the most important thing is the bathroom. WOW! I'm impressed. It looks like the bathroom is completely new. Reaaalllly nice!

The weather is unbelievably freezing here lol! but it's okay, we can still manage the freezing winter. No snow is falling yet, hopefully we can experience some snow before going back to Indonesia.

We're planning to go sightseeing around Kyoto today. Visit some temples and Kyoto Tower in the evening. Too bad I can't post the pictures now. Maybe soon after I arrive home.

and dokodemodoa, I haven't got Om Pukuh's CD and the mag that you want. I'll try to drop by at a music store near here. And vburi, I've bought you Garasu no Kamen vol 44 ^_^

and I bought myself Nodame Cantabile vol 23. YAY!

owh, today is the opening of SMAP SHOP (but unfortunately, it looks like we won't go there as it costs quite a lot to go to Tokyo *sobs*) and tomorrow is the release of Nodame Cantabile movie

The countdown has apparently begun as SBS has decided against renewing their contract with the production company that produces Family Outing. There are some caps of Tamaki and Juri-chan in Bistro and I was like T___T when I saw how skinny Tamaki is and of course his wtf hair style (I wonder if Juri-chan ever commented on how scary Tamaki has become lately T__T ), but I will download it anyway. It's been quite a while since I last watched SXS in HQ (the last three episodes had poor quality, where's massaru? He (she?) doesn't upload SXS anymore on d-addicts) >.<
